HearthStone sera présent aux IEM de Katowice du 14 au 16 mars
L'annonce est tombée il y a peu, un tournoi HearthStone aura lieu aux IEM de Katowice du 14 au 16 mars prochain. Avec un cash prize de 4.000$, quatre joueurs s’affronteront dans cette grande compétition. L'un des joueurs présents sera européen, un autre sera polonais et les deux joueurs restant seront des célébrités spécialement invitées pour l'occasion. After weeks of teasing, it is finally time to announce the third game set to host competition at the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship in Katowice (March 14th to 16th).
We are very happy to announce that Hearthstone will join the Intel Extreme Masters in Katowice as an official title. Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will be the second Blizzard Entertainment title at the event, which currently features StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. The digital strategy card game will see four players compete in the onsite competition for a total of US$4,000 in the first ever Intel Extreme Masters Hearthstone tournament.
European hopefuls will have a chance to qualify for two of the four spots leading up to the tournament, with one of the spots reserved for a Polish representative. Hearthstone celebrities’ from within the community will be offered the remaining two spots. The invitees will be announced at a later date, however an explanation of how to participate in the qualifiers can be found below.
Qualification Process
Our European qualifiers will take place throughout the coming week in two stages. In the first stage, players will have a chance to qualify for Stage 2 (our Final Qualifier) in four separate qualifiers that are open to everyone. The finalists of each of the four qualifiers will move on to the Final Qualifier, in which a total of eight players will then battle it out for the only European spot in the Hearthstone tournament at the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship in Katowice.
